Dr. Rodriguez, President of Nutrispan, Inc., is a frequent speaker on Spanish and English language television and radio. She has received the HACE (Hispanics Achieving Community Excellence, Jacksonville, FL) award, the Florida Dietetic Association Distinguished Dietitian award, a University of North Florida teaching award (TIP), a Florida Dietetic Association Outstanding Educator award, and the Florida Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Leader Award. She is a Fellow of the American Dietetic Association and participates in a variety of professional and community service activities. She is author of Contemporary Nutrition for Latinos.
